Your website is built with WordPress and the Elementor page builder. This guide shows you how to log in, open a page in Elementor and find your way around the editor.
1. Log in to WordPress
- Go to yourdomain.co.uk/wp-admin (swap in your own web address).
- Enter the username or email address and password we gave you, then click Log In.
- Forgotten your password? Click Lost your password? on the login screen and a reset link will be emailed to you.
2. Open a page in Elementor
- In the left-hand menu, click Pages.
- Hover over the page you want to change and click Edit with Elementor.
- Alternatively, visit the page on your website while logged in and click Edit with Elementor in the black bar at the top of the screen.
3. A quick tour of the editor
- The page preview (right) is your live page. Click anything on it to edit it.
- The panel (left) shows the settings for whatever you've clicked, split into Content, Style and Advanced tabs.
- The top bar holds the + button for adding elements, the Structure (Navigator) view, the device switcher for desktop, tablet and mobile, a preview button and the Publish button.
4. Leaving the editor
Click the Elementor logo or menu at the top left and choose Exit to WordPress, or close the tab. Always click Publish (or Update) first if you want to keep your changes.
Tip: Elementor works best in Chrome, Edge or Firefox on a laptop or desktop. Editing on a phone isn't recommended.
