Moving to our Professional Email from another provider (for example your old host, Gmail or Microsoft 365)? You can copy your existing emails and folders across with the free migration tool. Your old mailbox isn't changed or deleted.

Before you start

  • Create the new mailbox first. See How to create email mailboxes and set passwords.
  • Have the login details for both the old and the new mailbox to hand.
  • If your old provider uses two-factor sign-in (for example Gmail or Microsoft 365), you may need to create an app password there to use in the tool.
  • Try one small mailbox first to make sure it works before moving everyone.

Run the migration

  1. Go to umzug.audriga.com, accept the terms and click Proceed.
  2. Search for your current provider as the source. If it isn't listed, choose Add Missing Provider and enter its IMAP server.
  3. Choose OX AS Cloud (US) as the destination.
  4. Enter the old mailbox's username and password and click Check. Then do the same for the new mailbox.
  5. Click Confirm, then Proceed, then Start migration. The tool shows the mailbox size and roughly how long it will take.
  6. You'll get an email when it's finished. Log in to webmail and check your emails and folders have arrived.

Switch your email over

Once your emails are copied, your domain's MX records need pointing at OX App Suite so new mail arrives in the new mailbox. If we manage your domain, we'll do this for you. Otherwise see DNS records for OX App Suite email.

Catch any stragglers

Some email may still land in the old mailbox while the change spreads across the internet. About 24 hours after the MX records have changed, run a delta migration in the same tool. It copies only the emails that arrived since the first run.
